What we do

If you are an individual who is injured or in pain, we can help you immediately.

We are a friendly, local clinic with appointments available on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Alternatively, if you are shooting a screen production, please click here.

We offer a full screening and examination to assess your condition, identify the causes and associated risk factors, and plan an individualised treatment programme with you.

Based on this, we agree with you a treatment and rehabilitation programme that may include:

- acute injury management

- remedial exercise therapy / reconditioning

- soft-tissue therapies, including 'deep tissue' and 'sports massage'

- electrotherapies

- manual therapies, including vertebral and peripheral joint mobilisations

- cryo- and thermal-therapy

- referral for radiographic investigation or other specialist assessment or treatment

You may be aware that:

  • 'Sports Therapy' is not just about Sports Massage. However, Sports Therapists possess massage skills that are an integral part of their scope of practice.
  • Sports Therapists are not Physiotherapists, however, Graduate Sports Therapists will apply “physiotherapy” skills because physiotherapy is defined as “the treatment of disease, injury or deformity by physical methods including massage, heat treatment, electricity and exercise, rather than drugs or surgery”.
  • A Sports Therapist is therefore an allied healthcare professional who has the knowledge, skills and ability to:
  1. utilise sports and exercise principles to optimise performance, preparation and injury prevention programmes
  2. provide the immediate care of injuries and basic life support in a recreational, training & competitive environment
  3. assess, treat and, where appropriate, refer on for specialist advice and intervention
  4. provide appropriate sport and remedial massage in a sport & exercise context
  5. plan and implement appropriate rehabilitation programmes
